Position: Salesforce Solution ArchitectDuration: 9 MonthsRemote WorkAgency: Department of Children, Youth, and FamiliesClient: State of MinnesotaJob ID: 3709Position OverviewThe Salesforce Solution Architect will lead the architecture, design, and modernization of the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Early Childhood Administration systems. The architect will design scalable Salesforce Public Sector Solutions that support Early Learning Scholarships (ELS), Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), Provider Hub, Enrollment & Attendance, and future unified Early Childhood initiatives. This role will work closely with State leadership, Product Managers, Business Analysts, UX teams, and technical architects to develop enterprise solutions that integrate Salesforce with Azure, SWIFT, ELSA, MEC , MAXIS, and other State platforms.ResponsibilitiesDesign enterprise Salesforce Public Sector Solutions architecture for Early Childhood modernization initiatives. Develop end-to-end solution architecture supporting ELS, CCAP, Provider Hub, Enrollment & Attendance, and financial management systems. Lead discovery workshops and translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. Define application, integration, security, and data architecture using Salesforce Lightning Platform. Design API-first integrations with SWIFT, Azure Integration Services, ELSA, MEC , MAXIS, and external systems. Develop canonical data models, master data management, and identity resolution strategies. Recommend COTS, SaaS, and Salesforce-native capabilities to replace legacy systems. Produce architecture diagrams, technical roadmaps, and implementation strategies. Ensure compliance with State security standards, NIST, FedRAMP, IRS Publication 1075, and data governance policies. Collaborate with UX designers to support Human-Centered Design and citizen-facing digital experiences. Guide Agile development teams throughout design, implementation, and deployment.
