Senior Power BI Developer (Enterprise Analytics)Location: GTA (Georgetown / Mississauga)Work Model: Hybrid 3 days in Georgetown for first 6 months, moving to 4 days onsite in Mississauga in 2027.Employment Type: Full-Time - PermOverviewWe are seeking a Power BI Developer to join a growing enterprise analytics team. This is a business-facing role responsible for partnering with stakeholders to design, deliver, and maintain high-impact dashboards and reporting solutions.You will act as a bridge between business teams and the analytics platform, ensuring business questions are translated into scalable, performant, and easy-to-use Power BI solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to understand processes, KPIs, and reporting needsDesign and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insightsBuild and maintain high-quality semantic models (datasets) optimized for performance and reuseDevelop advanced DAX measures and calculations to support complex reporting needsApply dimensional modeling best practices (star schema / Kimball)Perform performance optimization (model tuning, query reduction, visual efficiency)Work with Data Engineering teams to consume data from Microsoft Fabric / Lakehouse environmentsValidate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reports and datasetsTroubleshoot production issues such as refresh failures, data discrepancies, and performance issuesSupport business users with self-service analytics and Power BI best practicesDocument report logic, business rules, and data definitionsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience in an enterprise environmentStrong expertise in:Advanced DAX developmentPower Query (M)Semantic model (dataset) designStrong understanding of data modeling (star schema / dimensional modeling)Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysisExperience working in business-facing BI roles with stakeholder interactionExcellent communication skills (technical + non-technical audiences)Technical EnvironmentPower BI (Desktop & Service)Microsoft Fabric:Lakehouse (data consumption)SQL endpointsDataflows / Data FactoryAzure analytics ecosystemPower BI Service (workspaces, security, capacity management)Nice-to-HaveExperience with:Tabular Editor / DAX Studio (performance optimization)Power BI governance, security (RLS/CLS), and lifecycle managementDevOps / GitHub for deploymentSAP data and business processesMultilingual reporting (metadata/data translation)What We're Looking ForStrong business acumen with ability to translate requirements into insightsPassion for building intuitive, high-quality dashboardsAbility to work across multiple stakeholders and domainsExperience supporting self-service analytics environmentsA collaborative mindset with strong communication skillsJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Georgetown, ON.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.Workplace TypeThis is a hybrid position in Georgetown,ON. propos de TEKsystems et TEKsystems Global ServicesNous sommes un fournisseur de services aux entreprises et de technologies.
