The HT Group is partnering with an IP law firm based in Houston to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and on-site support. This role is highly hands-on and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Experience with patent litigation and trial support is required to be considered*Location: Houston TX (77046)Compensation: $65-80k + bonusKey ResponsibilitiesSupport cases from pre-trial through trial, ensuring organization and timely executionTravel ahead of attorneys to prepare trial materials, set up war rooms, and manage logisticsProvide on-site trial support, coordinating activities for attorneys and litigation teamsCommunicate with opposing counsel and support staff regarding logistics, document exchange, and schedulingManage document production, including Bates numbering, organization, and quality controlPrepare, review, and file legal documents with courts and administrative bodies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlinesMaintain case calendars, tracking court dates, deadlines, and key milestonesOrganize exhibits, deposition transcripts, and trial binders for easy access and accuracyAssist with hearing and trial preparation, including coordinating materials and witness logisticsEnsure all filings comply with court rules and procedural requirementsServe as a central point of coordination across attorneys, clients, and external partnersQualificationsAssociate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred5+ years of experience in patent prosecution and/or litigation supportProven trial support experience, including courtroom or war room environmentsStrong understanding of litigation processes and court filing proceduresExperience with document management systems and e-discovery toolsProficiency in Bates numbering and large-scale document productionExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and accountabilityWillingness to travel as neededAbility to work extended hours during trial periods, including evenings and weekends#HPIND
