ReceiverVerifies that the correct products are being received from vendorsGreets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contactReceives products from vendors, checks all merchandise with invoice, processes and approves invoices correctly, breaks down pallet deliveries, bales boxesSorts and restack pallets in warehouse, oversee proper placement of merchandise, keep warehouse clean and neatMonitors traffic of delivery trucks, while controlling the flow of vendors through the back roomMakes sure that credits are out in a timely mannerMakes sure safety forms are completed for all machinery on a daily usage basisMaintains awareness of security measures to avoid losses to the companyPerforms other related duties as needed as assigned by managerStand for long periods of time, very frequent walking back and forth in grocery warehouseCarry up to 60 pounds, push and pull up to 1000 pounds, frequent motions with arms/hands to stock items, bend to pick up and restack palletsUse of proper safety proceduresAble to use fork lift, electric and manual pallet jack, check hydraulics, oil, water, propane for proper working orderAble to use a DSD smart gunAble to multitask, listen to directions and follow through independentlyAble to deal with difficult vendors, have good communication and observation skillsAble to work independentlyPrevious experience working with the publicKnowledge of location of products and product familiarityWorking knowledge of grocery vendorsBasic mathematical knowledge and computer skills to fax and emailAir condition while in store, subject to outside conditions of heat, rain, and wind, chill temperatures when products need to be retrieved from chill and freezerMust be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery
