Our dedication to candidates involves managing expectations with precision through business intelligence, thorough interview preparation, transparent communication, and exceptional feedback throughout the process.We are committed to advancing your career and look forward to supporting your professional growth.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Senior Claims Specialist (Professional Liability) (Full-Time) (Remote)Location: RemoteSalary: $150K - $190K Base Salary plus BonusMust Haves:6-10 years of claims handling experience handling lawyers, and/or architects, and/or engineers, and/or applicable legal experience.Juris Doctor degree preferred.Be responsible for primary and excess lawyers, accountants, insurance agents and brokers, and architects and engineers professional liability claims from first notice through resolution, including coverage evaluation and litigation management.Provide top-notch customer service through all interactions and communications, including with internal and external customers and business partners.Adhere to all statutory regulations and the Unfair Claims Practices Act.Job SummaryMy Client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to proactively investigate and directly handle lawyers' and accountants' professional liability claims.What You Will DoBe responsible for primary and excess lawyers, accountants, insurance agents and brokers, and architects and engineers professional liability claims from first notice through resolution, including coverage evaluation and litigation management.Provide top-notch customer service through all interactions and communications, including with internal and external customers and business partners.Work collaboratively with internal and external business partners, including underwriters, actuaries, brokers, insureds, counsel, and senior management.Use your negotiation skills at mediations and settlement conferences.Identify and communicate industry trends.Adhere to all statutory regulations and the Unfair Claims Practices Act.What You Need To Have6-10 years of claims handling experience handling lawyers, and/or architects, and/or engineers, and/or applicable legal experience.Juris Doctor degree preferred.Prior leadership/management experience with claims is a plus.Adjuster's licenses are strongly preferred and will be required upon employment.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong analytical, investigative, listening, and negotiation skills.A desire to be part of a team.Keen attention to detail.Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
