Back of House Team Member

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong understanding of food safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation and ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests Handle food items with care, demonstrating proper food handling techniques Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality service and presentation Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred Background in menu planning, cooking, or food service is highly desirable Experience in the restaurant or food industry is beneficial Culinary experience with an emphasis on food preparation and safety practices Familiarity with catering services and serving techniques is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment Join us as we create memorable dining experiences through exceptional culinary practices!
