Job Description Job Title: QC Analyst I – MicrobiologyLocation: Memphis, TN 38118Duration: 7 MonthsSchedule: Sunday – Thursday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PMInterview Process: Virtual Interview (45 Minutes)Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented QC Analyst I – Microbiology to support environmental monitoring, product release testing, and raw material testing in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, microbiology knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory setting with minimal supervision.Responsibilities:Perform environmental monitoring including:Viable air particulate samplingNon-viable particulate samplingSurface and personnel monitoringConduct routine microbiological testing and sample processingMaintain laboratory inventory, media, reagents, and suppliesFollow SOPs and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure data integritySupport laboratory upkeep, documentation, filing, and physical inventoriesUtilize GMP systems such as MODA and other laboratory software systemsReview test results and documentation for accuracy and completenessSupport timely product release testing activitiesWork in cleanroom environments following gowning proceduresPerform additional laboratory-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Biology or related scientific discipline0–2 years of laboratory experience preferredExperience in cGMP/FDA-regulated environments is a plusKnowledge of microbiology and aseptic techniquesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentStrong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilitiesPreferred Skills:Experience with:Laser particle countersViable air samplersMicroscopesEndosafe® instrumentationPCRBacT/ALERT systemsAdditional InformationAbility to work in a cleanroom environment with full gowning requirementsFast-paced and highly technical laboratory setting
