(*in collaboration with AbbVie)About The RoleIndependently collaborates with organizational stakeholders with a focus on Access & Reimbursement, and participates actively in commercial planning efforts by providing unbiased, objective, and actionable analyses. Researches and analyzes the company's products, markets, and competition and summarizes data into insights and recommendations that are presented to cross-functional teams and occasionally senior leadership._Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)For assigned area or project(s) with focus on Access & Reimbursement, independently develops the commercial analytics plan, manages related projects, and collects and manages the data in support of the overall planIndependently synthesizes complex information gathered from various primary and secondary sources, identifies opportunities, and develops conclusions and recommendations that can be used by Commercial leadership to make well-informed business decisions, better understand customer segments, competitive threats, and to identify opportunities and potential risksProvides strategic input to help shape the annual brand plan, brand/payer strategies, and development of key performance indicatorsPlans and leads the execution of a limited number of market research projects focused on Access and Reimbursement: recommending the appropriate methodology, participating in selecting the vendor, developing the questionnaire/discussion guides with the appropriate internal feedback/input, leading implementation, analyzing results, presenting the findings to key internal customers, developing actionable recommendations, tracking brand performance and forecast accuracy through weekly dashboards and driving continuous improvement in forecast models and processesManages the development of the analytics budget and manages all approved budgets. Serves as a consultative, trusted advisor to Commercial leadership. Develops scenarios including key risks and opportunities to clearly characterize uncertainties and key drivers in the forecastsBuilds, manages and maintains relationships with key vendors of market research, secondary data, and competitive intelligencePartners with Market Access and Commercial Insights & Analytics to synthesize insights from a variety of data sources ns and integrate outputs of multiple analytical and market research workstreams into cohesive answers to key business questions Regularly communicates with strategic partners on Market Access team to report analytical findings and their impacts on business strategy and tacticsPartners with other members of Commercial Analytics and Insights team to deliver shared capabilities to the Market Access team and ensure sharing of best practices and data automationOther duties as assignedRequirementsBS/BA degree and 8+ years of a combination of secondary analytics, primary market research, and/or competitive intelligence experience within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. Experience within the CNS therapeutic area, launch experience, and managed markets experience preferred. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
