Group Accounting Manager

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a GROUP ACCOUNTING MANAGER for a long-time manufacturing client in the Detroit area. REQUIREMENTS of the Group Accounting ManagerBachelor’s degree Accounting7+ years of related experienceFinancial Consolidation experience, including international locationsStrong understanding of US GAAPCPA Designation highly preferredOneStream experience RESPONSIBILITIES of the Group Accounting ManagerPartner with the corporate accounting team, FP&A team, regional finance team and the business units to support the consolidations and internal/external reporting processLead and direct a consolidation team, working closely with the wider global consolidation teamEnsure the proper consolidation of the Company’s financial information within OneStream consolidation system, including appropriate intercompany elimination and other consolidation adjustments.Lead and manage month end closing procedures, preparing analysis and information to support the financial closing processManagement and preparation of consolidated financial information (actual/budget/forecast).Manage centrally held adjustments and consolidation entitiesProvides guidance and coaching to business unit accounting teams on proper financial and operational accounting processes
