This team focuses on creating a consistent, reliable foundation that allows product teams to innovate rapidly without compromising quality. Responsibilities include managing app stability, developing and maintaining the Whatnot Design System, localization, core components, and shared architecture that ensures performance and consistency at scale.As an iOS Engineer within the App Platform team, you will concentrate on developing the core infrastructure and building blocks that feature teams depend on. Your work will involve architecting and maintaining essential components, enhancing networking and data persistence layers, and driving initiatives to improve app stability and reduce crashes. Collaboration with product teams will be vital to ensure that the best practices are not only effective but also accessible, making development easier and more efficient. This role offers high leverage, as your contributions will impact the entire application ecosystem rather than isolated features.We support flexible working arrangements, allowing team members to work remotely or from our global office hubs, including New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
