Make your move to B&H today!Job Overview: The Receiving QA Specialist is responsible for signing off on all incoming merchandise shipments in the warehouse. As a vital part of the receiving department, the warehouse receiving quality assurance specialist inspects the merchandise to ensure B&H has received what it was supposed to receive and in perfect condition. Once the inspection is complete the employee records the shipment as received into the Warehouse Management system and then B&H releases payment to the vendor.Essential Responsibilities:Inspect all received merchandise for damage, determines product condition via problem solving and reconciles warehouse order slipsIf there are multiple bar codes, determines which barcode to use for what purposeProcesses shipments which don't reconcile against ordersEnters weight and dimension of new product into computer systemEnsure there is quality testing at all times in the warehouseDocuments complaints on vendors such as missing packing slips or missing bar codesAdditional Responsibilities: As assigned by the ManagerSpecific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:2 years of pallet processing requiredMust be able to lift 50lbs independentlyExtended periods of standing/walkingAbility to resolve pallet math and strong attention to detail and analytical thinkingStrong computer knowledge is requiredMust be able to operate a hand scanner to enter data into a Warehouse Management systemB&H is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity**Eligibility contingent upon background screeningWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
