Accounting Associate

Audit and Tax AssociateResponsibilities would include:Performing fieldwork and report writing for assurance engagementsPreparing tax returns for individuals, businesses (for profit and not for profit), and trustsPreparing journal entries and presenting them to management on assurance and bookkeeping engagementsWorking alongside Managers/Partners on engagements to prepare end product for presentation to management and board of directorsPresenting findings on assurance and tax engagements for possible ways to enhance or grow client's businessQualifications for this position would be:Bachelor’s Degree in accountingCPA designation or working towards CPAAnalytical skills with detail orientationAbility to work as an effective member of a teamMotivated to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentWillingness to ask questions and drive to grow individually and within the firmAbility to quickly learn new technologies (i.e., firm's artificial intelligence software)
