Join the MasTec family and help us provide the highest level of quality service to our customers and communities while maintaining our commitment to safety!ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Quality Auditor, you are responsible for ensuring all closeouts have zero failures or defects are completed in a timely manner, and correcting any issues on-site prior to submission. And you’re up for the challenge.In addition, you will:Control quality audits by using a managed process, which will effectively minimize if not eliminate OSHA citationsConduct OSHA Job Safety Audits (JSAs) as neededWrite, socialize, and measure individual tailored OSHA compliant safety regulations for the respective markets which should be tailored to the JSA’sHave expert knowledge of the OSHA 10 and 30-hour safety certificationsCommunicate requirements, receive and consolidate data, and publish and edit routine and exceptional safety audit reports/graphics to the leadership and staff of the organizationVisit job sites and evaluate General Contractors on their ability to maintain compliance with Client Quality and Safety StandardsReview potential subcontractor’s safety policies, procedures, and safety performance during the pre-qualification/bidding phase to ensure the company meets the established requirementsConduct field-monitoring activities associated with hot work permitting, excavation permits, crane operation, equipment loading/unloading, etc.Conduct Quality Audits as requiredReview/Audits daily safety activity conducted by subcontractor safety personnelTake immediate corrective action for any unsafe acts observed, involving the company management and subcontractor management for immediate reviewOther duties as assignedQualificationsAbout You:You have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workHigh school graduate or GED equivalentMinimum of 2 years of tower top installation, current and active tower climbing experience in the wireless industry5 + years of documented successful quality audits within the Telecommunications Construction IndustryStrong knowledge of OSHA Federal Regulations, state and local safety regulations, policies, and proceduresExperience providing safety trainingDemonstrate strong safety audit skills coupled with experience dealing with multiple stakeholdersDemonstrate experience in conducting field audits and accident investigationsExperience in managing individual or multiple wireless communication projectsAble to effectively work independently Proficient computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects), Adobe PDF’s, and database systemsAbility to complete closeouts with detailed and highlighted photosTravel as needed and willing to work nights and weekendsHold a valid driver’s licenseCurrent certifications: ComTrain or equivalent, CPR, first aid, OSHA 30Starting pay is $23-$26/hour, depending on experience.Hard work pays off.
