Quality And Process TechnicianAmerican Polymer Company specializes in the manufacturing of precast underground vaults. Quality and process technician is responsible for ensuring that the products, processes, and procedures meet a pre-defined standard of quality. They will develop, manage, and organize all inspection efforts for finished goods, raw materials, and any other plant project.Overall Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections on materialsCoordinate with the production department to ensure efficient processes are being usedPerform audits on processes to analyze effectiveness and participationCreate improvements to processes to improve quality/safety/efficienciesParticipate in processes to improve quality and increase productivityEnsure company policies and procedures are followed at all timesTest both finished goods and raw materials for complianceProvide training and education to new hires and employees as necessaryMonitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working orderRequirements:Computer skills to collect data, run reports, and present to the teamQuality experience preferredSkills:CommunicationAttention to detailProblem-solving & Root cause analysisMechanical aptitudeAbility to work both as an individual and a part of a team
