The Impact You’ll MakeOur team is looking for a Senior Director or Vice President, DMPK to provide enterprise-level scientific leadership and strategic oversight of all drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics activities across our pipeline.This individual will define and drive DMPK strategy from discovery through pre-clinical development, build and lead the DMPK function, and serve as a key member of the scientific leadership team. You will influence program direction, collaborate to shape development strategies, and ensure integration of DMPK insights into decision-making at the portfolio level.You will have the opportunity to build and shape a critical scientific function, influence groundbreaking oncology programs, and help bring transformative therapies to patients. This is a high-impact leadership role at a company redefining cancer biology.What You’ll Do:Strategic & Organizational LeadershipEstablish and lead the discovery DMPK function, including building internal capabilities and external partnerships. Define and execute company-wide discovery DMPK strategy aligned with corporate and pipeline objectives. Serve as a senior scientific leader, contributing to portfolio-wide strategy, governance, and decision-making. Mentor, recruit, and develop high-performing scientific talent as the organization grows. Scientific & Program LeadershipProvide strategic DMPK leadership across all programs, from target validation through clinical development. Act as the DMPK subject matter expert on cross-functional teams, influencing key decisions in medicinal chemistry, biology, toxicology, and clinical development. Design and oversee integrated ADME, PK, and PK/PD strategies to enable candidate selection and clinical success. Collaborate with team to ensure robust translation from preclinical to clinical, including dose prediction. Execution & OversightOversee and guide nonclinical ADME and PK studies, ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with program goals. Ensure delivery of high-quality DMPK reports and interpretation of data to inform decisions. Provide oversight of GLP and non-GLP studies, ensuring compliance and quality standards. Regulatory & External EngagementLead or oversee authorship of DMPK sections of regulatory submissions (IND, CTA, NDA/BLA). Represent DMPK in regulatory interactions and contribute to health authority strategy. Build and manage relationships with CROs, consultants, and external collaborators. Stay at the forefront of emerging DMPK technologies and approaches, incorporating innovation into strategy.What you bring:Experience & ExpertisePhD in pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline and 15+ years in biotech/pharma, including leadership roles. Deep expertise in small molecule DMPK, with broad knowledge across: Drug metabolism and bioanalysis Pharmacokinetics and PK/PD modeling Preclinical pharmacology and toxicology integration Expertise with beyond rule of 5 molecules is advantageousLeadership & ImpactProven track record of leading DMPK across multiple programs from discovery into clinical development. Experience building or scaling DMPK teams and capabilities; experience managing CROs and external partnerships, including regulated environments.Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional strategy and executive decision-making. CapabilitiesStrategic thinker with the ability to connect data to decisions at the portfolio level. Highly collaborative leader who thrives in a matrixed, fast-paced biotech environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences, including executives and external stakeholders. Comfortable operating in ambiguity and high-growth environments, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.Ability to manage multiple programs with competing or evolving timelines.The anticipated salary range for candidates for this role is $260,000- $285,000 for a Senior Director and $295,000-$325,000 for a VP. The final salary offered will depend on several factors, which may include, but is not limited to relevant years of experience and educational background.
