DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION/OBJECTIVEPart-Time Special Education TeacherHours: during school hours (8am-4pm)Da Vinci is a multi-functional educational company that provides services designed to support the academic needs of our clients. The role of our Collaborators is to provide the best customized instruction for each of our students while meeting their individualized educational needs and provide the best customized and high quality consulting to each of our teachers, school districts and clients.Our collaborators are hired on a contractual basis and may be required to travel to different locations. Each Collaborator will be given the opportunity to attend multiple professional development trainings throughout the year. It is required that the Collaborator attends at least 2 electiveDa Vinci trainings per year to supplement the required training that has been determined for previous levels of collaborator.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDirect ServicePrepare daily lesson plans customized for each studentWeekly communication, unless there is an urgent issue, with the Director of Operations and/or Director of Academic Services and/or Gold Collaborator via email or in person (regarding student progress and any concerns)Quarterly Progress ReportsSession NotesIEP quarterly progress reports for appropriate studentsTrack and submit student attendanceAttend CSE's upon requestAIMSWeb/DibelsConsultingAnnual Consultation SummariesCreate Student Consultation Action PlansSchedule consults and keep track of contractually approved number of assigned student consultsAttend CSE upon requestProfessional DevelopmentProfessional Development internal to staffAssist Gold Collaborator with Staff Development and Training (clinic & district clients)General Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommitted to lifelong learning and personal developmentAttend administrative staff meetings (as needed)Assist a Gold Collaborator with Fidelity ChecksParent ConferencesMust attend in person trainings and meetings when mandatedComplete work from home accountability templateProficient in 2 programs and trained in ALL Da Vinci endorsed programsLexia ManagementReading Plus ManagementStudent Assessment / EvaluationsSKILLS/CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED/PREFERREDKnowledge and experience with IEP'sEffective interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbalStrong organizational skills with attention to detail including preparing all educational plans and materials necessary for each lessonExcellent customer service skillsFlexible, able to work under pressure and changing prioritiesExperienced in Google ProgramsMust be available to travel and move about the various schools and in various environmentsAble to meet deadlinesEDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED/PREFERREDCertified Special Education Teacher- requiredMasters Degree in Education (or other related degrees)- required3 Years Teaching Experience- preferredExperience with multi-sensory language, writing and comprehension programs- preferredCompensation range would be $40 to $65/hour with the part-time employee benefits listed below.-Da Vinci will provide up to 40 hours of paid sick time for use per calendar year toall part-time employees. Sick time accrues at the rate of one hour for every 30hours worked.-401-K plan with a company match (eligible after 90 days employment)-Mileage Reimbursement for travel between work locations.Pay Range
