It's a family owned and award-winning destination that truly inspires.Paws Up Montana is seeking a Barista to add to our team. To make and serve beverages with proper presentation and efficiency. Beverages such as coffee, tea, soft drinks and smoothies. Aid with plating and delivering pastries for guests. Maintain a clean and neat work area. Be able to provide food & beverage orders quickly and neatly. Assist servers on the dining room with running food, bussing and cleaning.The Primary Functions are:Stocking, grinding, blending and brewing coffee and tea for guestsPackaging food & beverage for the guestsAssist in opening duties associated with opening the restaurantKnow the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a tableUnderstanding the difference between different coffee/tea blends and providing education to guests and serversAnswer questions pertaining to the restaurant menusKeep up-to-date knowledge on all menu items including preparation, any allergens, and alternative preparations, and specials; Communicate food restrictions to Food & Beverage and Culinary teamAssist pastry chef in packaging foodConverse with the guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and fulfill special guest requests as instructed by management or the guest directlyEnsure confidentiality of guests before and throughout their stayAssist with guest service issues accurately and promptly; Communicate effectively with Restaurant Manager to assistMaintain up-to-date awareness of Resort information and amenitiesWork in collaboration with other teammates to deliver guests expectationsMaintain a clean and organized workstationStaying up to date on brewing methods, beverage blends and presentation methodsPerform opening and closing dutiesFollow all company and safety and security policies and proceduresLooking for Team Members with:High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course workMinimum 1 year of barista experience or food & beverage experienceKnowledge of world class hospitality and serviceExceptional listening and communicating skillsValid Food Handler's LicenseValid State Driver's LicenseKnowledge of coffee and tea blendsAvailability to work on weekends and/or holidaysProficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the dayHas a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands and with guest, team members, and managementTeam members can look forward to:$250 Referral BonusEmployee lunch providedEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee discounts on merchandiseCarpool Reimbursement $5-$20/DayOpportunities for career development and advancementPaws Up Montana provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
