The role is accountable for stabilizing allocation logic, intercompany controlling flows, and profitability reporting to enable a successful consolidated financial close.This is a senior, hands-on execution role requiring direct participation in mock conversions, cutover execution, and first consolidated close validation.This is not AMS support and not a greenfield implementation.Required Experience (12 15 Years)12 15 years of SAP experience with minimum 8+ years focused in SAP ECC CODirect hands-on participation in 2+ legal entity consolidations, carve-ins/outs, or post-merger ERP integrationsDemonstrated experience stabilizing controlling structures in multi-instance or multi-template SAP environmentsStrong intercompany allocation and cross-company reconciliation experienceActive involvement in period-end close during structural integrationDeep hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting assessments, distributions, settlements, and profitability reporting structuresStrong FI CO integration expertise with trial balance reconciliation exposureParticipation in mock conversion cycles and cutover weekends in live production environmentsExperience operating in imperfect data conditions requiring pragmatic resolutionSuccess ProfileUnderstands margin sensitivity in commodity and trading-driven environmentsQuickly identifies allocation breakdowns and intercompany reconciliation discrepanciesMakes decisive adjustments to protect close timelinesCommunicates effectively with Controllers and Finance leadershipMaintains high accountability during conversion and first closeEnvironment ExpectationsMulti-entity stabilization within a multi-instance SAP landscapeHigh financial reporting and margin visibilityExtended hours during mock conversions and cutoverOnsite presence required with significant travelKey ResponsibilitiesConsolidate and harmonize controlling structures across merged company codes and instancesRationalize and realign cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and reporting hierarchiesReconfigure and validate assessments, distributions, settlements, and cross-company allocationsDiagnose and resolve FI CO reconciliation issues impacting trial balance, intercompany balances, and margin reportingValidate controlling balance migration and intercompany allocations during mock conversionsCoordinate with GTM, SD, and Finance teams to protect profitability reporting integrityLead CO validation activities during conversion cycles and cutover executionSupport first consolidated close and confirm profitability and allocation accuracy across merged entitiesTriage allocation and reconciliation defects under compressed stabilization timelinesSTM Consulting, Inc is a fully owned subsidiary of Spectrum Talent ManagementSTM Consulting, Inc. provides comprehensive Professional Services and IT Outsourced services across North America, Canada, Mexico, UK, Middle East and India.
