Insurance Restoration ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGERBROADCO is a general contractor specializing in Property Restoration and Reconstruction as a result of fire, wind, water damage, and other event-driven disasters, providing complete project management for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Established in 2009, BROADCO has become a leading disaster restoration contractor and provides a broad range of services, such as 24-hour emergency response, construction, water mitigation, reconstruction, environmental remediation (asbestos, mold, and lead abatement), content restoration, and National Disaster Response Team.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000 - $90,000 per yearResponsibilities:Essential FunctionsMust be available for "on call" rotation (after hours) as needed, respond to leads in a timely manner, and order "Emergency Services" if requiredWrite an estimate of damage in Xactimate, Proposal, or ROM to submit in a timely manner, and write change orders, revise estimates, and addenda as neededGet signatures from customers on Work Authorization, specifications, and/or proposalsLead and oversee construction and/or restoration projects from beginning to end. Monitor and meet scheduled deadlines and critical datesDetermine and define project scope, schedule, and budget. Manage costs in order to meet the budget and make sure supplies are ordered and delivered according to the scheduleCreate status reports daily and/or weekly, with change orders, progress to deadlines, and challenges/roadblocks. Track time and material logsManage and monitor safety regulations and ensure that the project staff is in complianceObtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites. Ensure all appropriate permits and licensing are acquired for the work site(s), and all building codes are metWhen the project is complete, prepare the billing and submit itFollow up on payment for assigned jobsOther duties as assignedCommunicationCommunicate with your team players to keep files up to dateMaintain a relationship with customers and all parties involved throughout the projectWork with property management, coordinators, and the insurance company for approvalsWork with subcontractors, engineers, architects, adjusters, and consultants in a professional mannerQualifications:Experience in estimating and/or project management in the restoration and/or construction industry. Prefer Xactimate estimating software experience or other similar estimating softwareDemonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, architecture, and insurance coverage principlesMust possess business acumen and the ability to manage budgets, estimate costs, and manage gross marginHigh degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditionsComfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawingsStrong leadership and management skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, delegation, and follow-up skillsPossession of a current state driver's license with a clear driving recordSuccessful completion of a background check (no criminal convictions for violent offenses or loss of property)General knowledge in the daily use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), including MS ProjectAbility to navigate the internet to research supplier and product info, pricing, etcEstimating/ Project Management: 3 years (Required)Xactimate: 1 year (Required)Construction/Restoration: 5 years (Preferred)About Company:At BROADCO, we understand the emotional and financial toll that property damage can take on homeowners and businesses.
