Job Title: 5G/LTE Systems Test Engineer (Protocol / RF)Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)Type: ContractPay range: $63/hr – $75/hr on w2 (all inclusive)Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced 5G/LTE Systems Test Engineer to join our IP Engineering team. The role focuses on protocol testing, call scenario development, and validation of mobile devices in a lab environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute 5G NR / LTE call scenarios using UXM (Keysight E7515B)Perform protocol stack testing (PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, NAS)Analyze logs, debug issues, and ensure 3GPP complianceWork with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope)Document and present test results to engineering teams.Required Skills:Strong experience in 5G NR (NSA/SA) and LTEHands-on with 3GPP protocols & call flow testingExperience with UXM / E7515B or similar toolsProgramming in Python or MATLABExperience in RF/system testingNice to Have:WiFi (802.11), BluetoothTools: QXDM, WiresharkExposure to IP / patent analysis
