Systems Administrator (Atlassian)

SummaryWe're looking for an individual with deep experience in the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence) to sit on our Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) team and lead integration work connecting these tools with our internal systems. You'll design and build the pipelines, APIs, and automations that keep Jira and Confluence in sync with our internal tooling — helping us track and manage engineering data across our AUV programs and get more leverage out of our existing Atlassian investment.What You'll DoDesign and build integrations between Jira/Confluence and internal toolsFacilitate data sync and workflow automation between Jira/Confluence and internal systems (e.g., issue tracking, reporting, provisioning, notifications)Work with stakeholders across engineering, systems engineering, program management, and ops to understand workflows and translate them into integration requirementsTroubleshoot and maintain existing integrations; monitor for reliability and data integrity issuesMaintain data integrity and traceability across integrated systems (requirements, test data, configuration data, etc.)Document integration architecture and decisions for the teamWhat We're Looking For3+ years of meaningful hands-on work in the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, and ideally Bitbucket)Experience building on Atlassian APIs (REST API, Jira Cloud/Server, Confluence Cloud/Server) and/or Atlassian Forge or ConnectStrong communicator who can work directly with non-technical stakeholders to scope integration needsMust be a U.S. citizen Nice to HaveExperience with Jira Service Management, Atlassian Marketplace apps, or admin/scripting (e.g., ScriptRunner)Familiarity with Atlassian Data Center/Cloud migrationsExperience working in a defense, aerospace, robotics, or hardware manufacturing environmentWe're open to a range of engagement types for this role, including full-time employment, contract, short-term contract, or consulting arrangements.
