Job Description Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Furniture Upholsterer to join our manufacturing team specializing in restaurant furniture such as booths, seating, and custom dining fixtures. In this role, you will transform raw furniture pieces into high-quality finished products using upholstery, sewing, and assembly techniques. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to creating durable, comfortable, and visually appealing furniture used in restaurant environments.DutiesMeasure and cut fabric, vinyl, leather, or other upholstery materials to fit restaurant booths and seating accuratelyUpholster restaurant furniture including booths, benches, and dining seating using stapling, sewing, and tacking techniquesAttach padding, foam, springs, and coverings to frames to ensure comfort and durability for high-traffic useUse hand tools and power tools to assemble and secure furniture componentsRepair or reupholster worn or damaged restaurant seating as neededOperate sewing machines to create seams and detailed finishes on upholstery materialsInspect finished products to ensure quality, tightness, and professional appearanceMaintain a clean and safe workspace while following all safety guidelinesSkills & QualificationsExperience working with upholstery for restaurant or commercial furniture (booths, seating, etc.) preferredProficient with hand tools such as staple guns, hammers, and basic assembly toolsStrong sewing skills and experience operating industrial sewing machinesAbility to work with various materials including vinyl, leather, and heavy-duty fabricsFamiliarity with furniture manufacturing or production environmentsAbility to safely use power tools and follow safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanshipJoin our team and be part of building high-quality restaurant furniture that combines durability, comfort, and style.
