Reporting to the Global Head of MBS Sales, you will work closely with MBS sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams, as well as the broader sales and client management organization.Your focus will be to enable the MBS Sales Manager for the Americas by supporting opportunity development across the full sales lifecycle — from target identification and meeting preparation to follow-up execution and pipeline progression in line with internal and external best practices. This role offers excellent career development opportunities, with a clear pathway toward progression into a Sales Manager position.What You Will Be Responsible ForAs part of the MBS Sales team, you will help drive pipeline development and sales execution by:Collaborating with client management, sales, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and partner teams to ensure effective outreach to target clients and consultantsIdentifying and qualifying new business opportunities from SimCorp's existing and prospective client baseCoordinating RFI and RFP responses in collaboration with internal stakeholdersLeading preparation for high-impact client meetings, including client research, attendee analysis, and development of compelling pitch materialsManaging professional follow-up from client meetings to ensure momentum and opportunity progressionSupporting internal governance activities such as pricing, deal approvals, and Salesforce pipeline reportingCoordinating MBS participation in broader SimCorp promotional activities, including client events, conferences, and entertainmentMaintaining high-quality CRM data by enriching, updating, and cleaning Salesforce records (accounts, contacts, and opportunities)Monitoring industry and market developments to identify potential opportunities for MBSPartnering closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging to prospects, clients, and business partnersProviding feedback on marketing campaigns based on market and prospect insightsCoordinating with Sales Managers in the Market Unit on opportunities which involve MBSEnsuring timely and accurate entry of leads, contacts, interactions, and intelligence in Salesforce Success in the role will be measured primarily by prospect pipeline development in support of new businessWhat We ValueMost importantly, you see yourself thriving in the role described above. Ideally, you bring experience in several of the following areas:A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience working in, or supporting, buy-side middle- and back-office processesA foundational understanding of capital markets, investment operations, and portfolio management systems, gained through study or early professional experienceKnowledge of SimCorp or competing investment management solutions (advantageous)Understanding of complex, consultative solution-selling environments Strong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in PowerPoint and ExcelLanguage skills: English required; French and German are advantageousLearn and effectively apply SimCorp's selling concepts and methodologiesDevelop and maintain strong knowledge of SimCorp, its product portfolio, and the value delivered to clientsWillingness to travel as requiredFlexibility to attend SimCorp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policyBenefitsSimCorp offers several benefits that might play a significant factor in considering whether to accept a job offer. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
