Role Description We are seeking a full-time Front Desk Agent to join our team at Avila La Fonda Hotel, located on-site in San Luis Obispo, CA. The Front Desk Agent will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Daily tasks include managing reservations, answering phone inquiries with professionalism, handling guest requests, and completing receptionist duties. This role also involves assisting guests in navigating local attractions and ensuring their stay meets the highest standard of service.Hospitality experience is always a plus, however, not mandatory. We are looking to hire solid employees with open availability.Duties include:Providing guests with assistance, and information in a courteous, efficient and friendly mannerDevelop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, and amenitiesHandle guest check ins and check outs appropriatelyTake reservation requests efficiently over the phone, through email and in personAnswer telephone in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquettePerforming additional duties as requiredHost daily guest receptions, Light Food Preparation for our daily receptions
