SAP Technical-Functional ConsultantThe role of the Senior Support Engineer, SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is to provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications for our client. The position has the responsibility for researching, troubleshooting and supporting of multiple Client Architectures, and implementations for our global clients who use 4.x, ECC and HANA environments.The role of the Senior Support Engineer, SAP EWM requires functional experience, integration knowledge, infrastructure and networking expertise and skills to diagnose serious issues; then develop, test, package and deliver fixes for such issues in complex, integrated and highly-configured environments.*This role is on a contractual-basis, On-Demand 0-20 hours per week, fully remote, 6 months project duration plus chance of extension, and will start immediately.*ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot complex SAP application issues using strong functional and technical expertise.Provide remote functional support, training, and best-practice guidance to clients.Manage assigned client accounts as a technical/functional advisor and build strong customer relationships.Support client customizations, critical defects, data issues, and application break fixes.Develop scripts to identify, analyze, and resolve data issues.Provide hands-on support using SAP/proprietary tools and remote connectivity.Work collaboratively in a virtual, 24x7x365 support environment, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.Contribute to knowledge-sharing, diagnostic tools, support processes, and continuous improvement.Required Experience10+ years of SAP experience across Basis, Middleware, Enterprise Portal, J2EE, and ABAP, including system, user, and content administration.5+ years supporting SAP application end-users in a corporate environment.4+ years of SAP Enterprise Portal and NetWeaver development/administration.Strong experience with SAP WAS, J2EE, Web Dynpro, iViews, SAP Knowledge Management, and Portal administration.Experience with SAP EWM configuration, installation, and administration.Strong knowledge of SAP R/3, ECC, NetWeaver, SAP architecture, maintenance/patching, and transport management, including CTS+.Experience with NWDI/NWDS, J2EE Web Application Server, Visual Administrator, ConfigTool, SDM, System Analyzer, and UME.Experience configuring LDAP integration, Single Sign-On, SSL, clustering/load balancing, Apache reverse proxy, and TREX.Experience with SAP Solution Manager/ALM, including Solution Documentation, Test Management, Change Request Management, Incident Management, Technical Operations, and upgrades.Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MaxDB, DB2, HANA, and operating systems including Linux, Windows, and AIX.Experience with SAP BW source systems and BEx Web.Successful participation in multiple SAP implementation and upgrade projects.Strong understanding of SAP business processes, integration, configuration, and complex cross-module problem resolution.SAP certification preferred.EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.SkillsExceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong SAP development, configuration, and customization knowledge.Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-pressure, remote environment.Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.PreferredExperience across multiple SAP releases, including ECC, NetWeaver, and Enterprise Portal.SAP Industry Solutions or country-specific localization experience.Consulting background and global implementation experience.If this role aligns with you - or someone who you know is qualified - please attach your most updated CV/resume with a good phone number to reach you at.
