Job Title: Electronics Engineer Location: Dublin, CA (Onsite)Mode: Contract/Full timeprogramming and interface aspects of PCB design and layouts, knowledge of motors - high speed and mixed signal, BOM, EMI/EMC, troubleshooting; 10 to 15 years of experience, FPGA, hands on Xpedition PCB tool is required, coding experience but not at systems level - C is mandatory and C++ nice to have; onsite-offshore coordinationHands on design experience in embedded hardware circuit designs: at least 10 -12 yearsHandson experience in Analog and Digital circuit designs and circuit simulations including SI & PI simulationsHave work experience in 8 / 16 / 32-bit microcontroller design and high-speed designsHave work experience using FPGAHave work experience in different types of DC motors and motion controls designsExperience in Schematic and PCB design using Xpedition PCB design tool (not a PCB design engineer)Preferably worked on medical devices and knowledge of medical standards for electronic circuit designs and compliancesExperience working on projects complying to IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standardsGood knowledge in EMI-EMC designs and mitigation methodsJob Description & Skill Requirement:Key responsibilities:Define customer needs and requirementsDesigning and building electrical and or electromechanical systems or sub systemsLead engineering projects and deliver them on timeCollaborate with engineers, suppliers, and customers locally and internationallyIntegrate quality process to project tasks and deliverablesCollaborate with team on project proposal, budgeting and schedulingWork on strict timelines to deliver quality product to customerRequirements and skills:Analog, Digital, and Mixed signal Hardware DesignLinear and switched mode power supply design and conceptsHardware design using FPGA, microcontroller and microprocessorsWorking experience with different types of DC motors, feedbacks and motion control systems designsUnderstanding of serial and parallel communication protocols and interfaces for hardware circuitsComponent selection and evaluationProduct tear down and market research expertiseKnowledge in wireless communication and ethernet interfacesHandson experience in schematic circuit design using software toolsKnowledge in developing PCB and designGood to have experience using Xpedition PCB design toolsStress, derating, power budgeting and reliability calculationsFunctional, module and integration testingExperience working in medical PDLC and configuration management for managing associated documentation (BOMs, schematics, drawings etc.)Good knowledge in medical standards and compliancesGood knowledge in EMI-EMC designs and mitigation methodsKnowledge in testing for pre-compliance and qualification tests from compliance laboratoriesKnowledge and use of analog and digital electronic testing tools and methodsExperience working on projects complying to IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standardsGood expertise in documentation with O365 toolsGood behavioural and communication skills with positive attitude for new and challenging environments.
