EMR - EPIC Compliance Credentials Needed for Submission: Current ARRT Current AHA BLS **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team at our Level I Trauma Center. As a vital member of our ER department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in emergency situations. This position requires a strong background in medical imaging, with a focus on CT technology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. If you are committed to your profession and thrive in fast-paced environments, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Duties:** - Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images of the body for medical diagnosis and treatment. - Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning, immobilization, and administering contrast agents as needed. - Conduct mammography and sonography procedures as needed. - Review patient medical records and consult with physicians to determine the best imaging protocols. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results. - Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other medical professionals to ensure that imaging results are interpreted correctly. - Provide exceptional patient care, including explaining imaging procedures and results to patients and families. - Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to maintain a high level of proficiency and patient safety. **Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. - Current registration in Radiologic Technology (RT) and a valid license to practice in the state. - At least 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma Center or similar emergency medicine environment. - Proficiency in CT scanning and other medical imaging modalities, including mammography and sonography. - Familiarity with PET scan technology and physiology knowledge. - Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. - Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and imaging information systems (IIS).
