GDIT is your place to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects and grow a rewarding career.HOW A FIORI APPLICATION DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Develop and implement SAP Fiori applicationsCollaborate with UX designers to improve usabilityIdentify, troubleshoot, and debug Fiori applications and related issuesTranslate business requirements into technical requirementsPerform unit testing and facilitate business user acceptance testingDevelop technical specifications and design documentsPrepare project-related documentation during the different stages of the projectCommunicate effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and business partnersWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline; OR the equivalent combination of education and work experience.Required Experience 8+ years of experience with Application Development, with at least 2 years proven work experience as an SAP Fiori Developer or similar roleRequired Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of SAP UI5, Fiori, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSSUnderstanding of SAP HANA database, OData services, and NetWeaver GatewayProven work experience using SAP ABAP and SAP HCM development tools and conceptsExperience with SAP Fiori design principles and app templatesExperience with SAP ERP implementationsKnowledge of SAP Fiori Elements, SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, and GitFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools such as VersionOneKnowledge of and experience in an IT Service management System (preferably ServiceNow) and ITIL processesProficient in Agile scrum methodologiesProficient knowledge and experience of SDLC practicesSecurity Clearance Level Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingU.S. residency requirement: The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions).
