ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial Planning & AnalysisDevelop and execute financial strategies that align with the firm's objectives. Financial ReportingOversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Accounts Receivable & Cash Flow ManagementOptimize accounts receivable processes and cash flow to ensure the firm's financial health. Profitability & Cost AnalysisAnalyze financial data to assess profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with financial regulations and mitigate financial risks. Billing & Collections OversightManage the billing and collections teams to improve processes, reduce outstanding balances, and increase cash flow. Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MAC/MBA preferred). • Professional designation, such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar. • 5-8+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience, preferably in a professional services setting (law firm experience is a strong plus). • Demonstrated success in: • Managing accounts receivable and high-volume invoicing. • Implementing and optimizing billing and collection processes. • Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. • Providing strategic financial recommendations to senior leadership. • Deep understanding of legal billing processes, revenue management, and financial strategy development. • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial software and the MS Office Suite.
