A day in the life:The Lead Floor Tech will oversee and perform the cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of all hard surfaces and carpeted floors within the facility. This role involves leading a team, ensuring quality floor care services, and operating specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member Deliver high-quality service and professionalism, upholding the standards and integrity of the Environmental Services DepartmentClean, maintain, and care for a variety of floor types, including tile, carpet, and brickComplete assigned tasks efficiently and on scheduleFollow established procedures for the correct use of cleaning chemicals and suppliesOperate, maintain, and care for floor cleaning equipment safely and properlyConsistently observe safety protocols, including the use of "wet floor" signs and other precautionsWork independently with minimal supervisionPromptly report any safety hazards or concerns What you'll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member Minimum of (2) years' experience and Supervisory experienceMust know how to Strip, Refinish and Burnish Hard FloorsStrong communication skills and ability to follow instructionsReliable transportationA valid Driver's License with good driving record may be required The Harvard Promise Join our team of Extraordinary People committed to delivering Exceptional Service.
