Backed by the NSF, NJEDA, NVIDIA Inception, Amazon AWS, and Google Startups, and supported by TechUnited and Verizon, we are developing a first-of-its-kind platform for automated safety verification of autonomous vehicles and robotic systems. Our tools integrate foundational AI models into robust verification pipelines, enabling safer and faster deployment of emerging autonomy technologies.What You’ll DoWe’re looking for a versatile full-stack developer with a passion for AI, autonomy, and robust system design. You’ll be helping us build an interactive and scalable platform for the verification and validation of autonomous systems, integrating real-time and event-triggered safety assessment tools.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeDeveloping front-end features for the platform using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and HTML/CSSBuilding and maintaining back-end APIs using Python (Django/FastAPI) and managing cloud deployments (AWS, Azure)Designing and integrating interfaces with autonomous systems and simulation toolsSupporting data visualization, user workflows, and secure access controlCollaborating with AI engineers on integrating LLMs and safety analysis featuresContributing to agile sprints and improving CICD pipelines for rapid prototypingWhat We’re Looking ForProficiency in Python, Django, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API developmentExperience with front-end frameworks (React preferred) and UI/UX best practicesStrong grasp of RESTful services, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and database managementInterest in robotics, autonomy, or safety-critical systems (experience is a plus but not required)Bonus: Familiarity with simulation platforms (ROS, Carla, AirSim), WebSockets, or message queuesWhy Join Us?Work on real-world problems that align with the DOE and Executive Orders on safe AIGet involved in a federally funded, high-impact SBIR projectCollaborate with Rutgers faculty, TechUnited ecosystem, and national research labsGain startup experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven team working on the future of mobilityPreferred QualificationsCurrently enrolled or recently graduated from a BS/MS program in CS, EE, Robotics, or related fieldsDemonstrated project experience or GitHub repos relevant to software development and/or autonomyA passion for clean, efficient, and scalable code
