We arebuilding a strong, people-powered campaign and are looking for a motivated PoliticalOrganizer to help our team with field and finance in order to lay the groundwork fortaking on Republican Congressman Andy Harris.Job DescriptionThe Political Organizer will be responsible for executing conventional field organizingactivities, staffing fundraising events, conducting outreach for meet-and-greets andother political engagements, and scheduling meetings with community groups,stakeholders, donors, and partner organizations. The role requires strongorganizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability tomanage multiple priorities in a fast-paced political environment.ResponsibilitiesExecute field organizing activities including canvassing, phone banking, voterregistration, and volunteer recruitment and managementStaff and support fundraising events, meet-and-greets, and other politicalengagementsConduct community and donor outreach to identify, cultivate, and maintainrelationships with key stakeholdersCoordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings with community groups, electedofficials, donors, and coalition partnersTrack organizing and finance activities using campaign tools and databasesRepresent the campaign professionally at public events and in communitysettingsSupport the broader campaign team on special projects and election-relatedactivities as neededQualificationsPrior experience in political organizing, campaign work, community outreach, ora related field is preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiessimultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverseconstituenciesSelf-starter with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independentlyand collaborativelyFamiliarity with VAN, NGP, or similar campaign platforms is a plusValid driver's license and access to reliable transportation requiredSpanish is a plus
