The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead its fundraising and revenue strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong alignment with the company's values, a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive fundraising leadership experience, and a proven track record in major gifts and foundation fundraising.Applicants for the CDO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in a related field and a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on major gifts and foundation relations. The role requires a candidate with exceptional relationship-building skills, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Familiarity with movement-based, organizing, or social justice fundraising models is essential, as is proficiency with CRM systems and fundraising tools. The CDO will be a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy and decision-making, and must be prepared to engage donors around civil rights, equity, and systemic change. The position demands a leader with high emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style, who can effectively mentor and lead a development team to support the company's growth and impact.
