STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLER

Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly of Structural Components:Assemble structural components and systems according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, fit, and fasten components.Blueprint and Technical Documentation:Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to determine the correct assembly procedures.Verify dimensions and alignment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.Quality Control:Inspect assembled components and structures for defects or inconsistencies.Perform measurements and tests to ensure the integrity and functionality of assembled products.Tool and Equipment Maintenance:Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in the assembly process.Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.Safety Compliance:Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.Team Collaboration:Work closely with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate assembly.Communicate effectively to address any issues or changes in assembly procedures.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, parts used, and completed work.Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Job DescriptionJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 – $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per week8 hour shift, In personMonday through FridayOvertime payWork location: San Antonio, TX 78217Qualifications3-5 years experienceMust have knowledge of drilling, reaming, riveting, sealing and hi-lock installation.Possess own tools, ability to use tools and machines to perform tasks.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.Proven experience as a structural assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly procedures.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery.Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical stamina and dexterity to handle various assembly tasks and lift heavy materials.Working ConditionsMay require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in potentially noisy or challenging conditions.Compliance with all safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid time off
