If you are interested in this LTC Pharmacist position, please contact Lindsay at 586-710-7959 or LKOPASZ@ALINESTAFFING.com LTC Pharmacist Compensation The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates LTC Pharmacist Highlights · This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is 7 days on / 7 days off, 12:30PM – 10:30PM LTC Pharmacist Responsibilities Accept and dispense prescription medications Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns Ensure pharmacy operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files Provide patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and interactions Answer patient questions regarding prescription and non-prescription medications Compound medications for internal and external use Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies Identify drug-related problems and collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers Work closely with physicians, nurses, LTC Pharmacists, and pharmacy interns LTC Pharmacist Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Active LTC Pharmacist license issued by the State Board of Pharmacy High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days LTC Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a clinical, hospital, or retail pharmacy setting Experience with sterile compounding is a plus If you think this LTC Pharmacist position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
