DevOps Engineer II - AWS Platform

Additional paid sick leave is also provided if required by state or local law.Summary Of PositionAs a DevOps Engineer II – AWS Platform, you will be responsible for creating automation and supporting ongoing operations for Cloud Operations and Cloud Security, in AWS, supporting technologies. This position will ensure that the team delivers value to cloud security and operations, and manages operations to maximize uptime, resiliency, availability, and system stability.Essential FunctionsProvide assistance in development and maintenance of automation in support of project objectives using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible / Ansible Tower, and Python, leveraging AWS management tools such as CloudFormation, System Manager, CloudWatch, as well as future AWS management services. Demonstrated mastery in applying these tools within a high-scale AWS environment.Deliver on Commitments on time with high quality and a sense of ownership and accountability. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer.
