Supply Chain Quality Manager

Job Description:The Supply Chain Quality Manager (SCQM) will be part of an international community, responsible for a portfolio of suppliers / vendors, ensuring supplier performance; capacity; de-risking and development needs are secured to meet the evolving business requirements. Training and development will be provided to ensure the required skills and competences are attained, aligned with the company's methods and processes. In conjunction, a robust induction training plan will be developed to ensure training of product, methods, tools etc. are sequenced in a robust way. This position is based in an Airbus office or based remotely in an approved city with travel by car and plane to supplier sites.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain and Quality Management: 70%Ensure maturity and robustness of Supplier's manufacturing andsupply chain processes to avoid supply failuresDrive continuous improvement of Supply Chain relatedperformances for deliveries of supplied productsReview supplier capacity and capability to secure ramp-up period aswell as Airbus industrial objectives (major planning changes, rampdown, etc.)Monitor and analyze performance through Key PerformanceIndicators and organizing the surveillance of the suppliers throughaudits, assessments, recovery plan and mission, CID (Corrective,Improvement, Development) and industrial risks management withinternal and external concerned partiesInitiate and organize supplier's ramp-up capacity and capabilitiesassessments in order to secure ramp-up or major planning changesMonitor major industrial risks, major changes (industrial transfers,major planning changes) and supporting design changes on anindustrial point of view in order to protect Airbus operationsInitiate and follow recovery plans with Suppliers in case of deliveryperformances degradation to ensure deliveries are back to AirbusrequirementsManage Suppliers' preventive/corrective action plans soachievements are at the expected level in terms of end results.Prepare and support regular management reviews (PRM, IndustrialSenior Management Meeting, and Quality Supply Chain Meetings)with suppliers to review regularly delivery and supply chainperformances and ensuring that preventive/corrective &improvement actions are continuously undertaken.Internal Stakeholder Management: 20%Manage relationship with internal stakeholders, such as MFTleaders, Programs and Final Assembly Lines (FALs).
