We are looking for a positive, accountable, and motivated individual who will deliver incredible experiences to nightly renters and assist us in maintaining some of the most amazing vacation homes in Southern Utah.
We are seeking an Guest Experience and Home Services Representative who will fit our culture and bring high level customer service to our guests before, during, and after their stay. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and positive individual, who has strong communication skills, be self-motivated, able to handle basic maintenance and home service tasks, have a high attention to detail, and be accountable to the day to day tasks assigned to them. This is a part time position with multiple openings to cover each day of the week between 10a and 5p. The day will be divided up between preparing for guest check ins, checking homes post guest stays, communicating positively with guests, providing excellent customer service, and taking care of some basic home service and guest experience tasks.
Position Responsibilities:
Guest Experience:
Check and confirm each home is up to Ember's 5 Star Standard before every stay
Perform any needed tasks to make sure each home is ready for the guest
Communicate with renters before, during, and after their stays to make sure they are having an excellent experience
Assist guests during their stays and make sure that any issue they have is resolved promptly
Be present at our Desert Color office to ensure quick responses to any guest issues
Assist other team members with daily tasks to make sure guests and homes are taken care of and improved
Be flexible and willing to help in other areas of the business when necessary
Home Checks:
Perform post renter stay home checks to verify all items are present in the home, no damage of the home or items have occurred, and homes are organized and ready to be cleaned by the cleaning team
Perform all pre-guest home checks to ensure home is ready for each stay
Perform monthly checks of homes to verify homes are being properly maintained to ensure a 5 star guest experience
Proactively solve problems and make sure homes and guests are taken care of
Home Service:
Perform basic maintenance on homes such as filling water softeners with salt, replacing air filters, and doing minor home repairs.
Work together with the Director of Home Services and Maintenance to make sure repairs and home upkeep are executed quickly and to Ember's 5 Star Standard.
Report any observed home issues to the team if unable to resolve on your own
Take part and assist in new home set ups and onboarding process
Be open and flexible to other tasks that support the goal of making sure homes are ready to go and well maintained for guests.
Position Requirements:
Prior experience in guest services or customer service
Excellent communication skills
Positive, Accountable, and Motivated Person
Able to execute tasks quickly and at a high level
Team player
Self motivated
Basic experience in home maintenance and the ability to repair minor home items, replace air filters, add salt to water softeners, etc...
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of execution
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to be flexible and willing to perform a wide range of tasks that support the overall guest experience
Ability to lift 50lbs and be on your feet consistently throughout the day
Have a smartphone and communicate through our apps
Reliable transportation to travel to different job sites within St. George, Utah primarily in the Desert Color community.
