Outside Events Team Member

Position OverviewThe Outside Events Team Member serves as a brand ambassador for SKYLAKE Adventures at community events, sports venues, festivals, and other outdoor activations throughout the summer season. This role is responsible for creating excitement around SKYLAKE, promoting attractions, selling tickets, collecting guest information, and engaging directly with the public in a fun and energetic environment.This is a highly interactive, guest-facing role ideal for outgoing individuals who enjoy talking with people, working outdoors, and representing an entertainment brand in the community.Weekend availability is required, with most shifts occurring during days, evenings, weekends, and special event dates throughout the summer season, with potential opportunities extending into fall.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Engagement & Brand PromotionRepresent SKYLAKE Adventures at offsite events, festivals, tournaments, and community activationsEngage with guests in a friendly, high-energy manner to build excitement around the parkShare information about attractions, ticket offers, events, and seasonal experiencesEncourage guests to visit the park and promote current promotions or special offersTicket Sales & Lead GenerationAssist with selling tickets, promotional offers, or giveaways at eventsCollect guest email addresses and contact information for marketing and promotional campaignsHelp guests understand ticket options, pricing, and park experiencesSupport mobile sales or digital ticketing processesInteractive Event SupportAssist with games, contests, giveaways, and interactive experiences at event booths or activationsHelp create a fun, energetic atmosphere that reflects the SKYLAKE brandEncourage participation and guest interaction during eventsEvent Setup & OperationsAssist with event setup and breakdown, signage, promotional materials, and giveaway itemsMaintain cleanliness and organization of event areasTrack inventory of promotional materials and suppliesSupport event leads with logistics and operational needsQualificationsOutgoing, energetic, and comfortable speaking with large groups of peopleStrong communication and customer service skillsReliable transportation to event locationsComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift promotional materials/equipment as neededPrevious experience in events, promotions, retail, hospitality, sports, or guest service is a plus, but not requiredSchedule & AvailabilityPart-time seasonal positionWeekend availability requiredEvening and holiday availability may be neededSummer season role with potential opportunities extending into fallIdeal Candidate ProfileFriendly and enthusiastic personalityComfortable approaching and talking with guestsTeam-oriented with a positive attitudeSelf-motivated and dependablePassionate about entertainment, attractions, sports, or live eventsEnjoys being active and working in fast-paced environmentsPotential Responsibilities At EventsTicket salesEmail sign-up drivesPrize wheel or giveaway gamesCrowd engagementSocial media moments/content supportDistributing brochures, coupons, and promotional itemsAssisting with branded activations and photo opportunities
