Title: Inventory Coordinator Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA Duration: 3.5 months contractPayrate: $36/hr on w2WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONWe are looking for a team player that always thinks ahead to accurately and efficiently support the daily inbound & outbound tasks that are required in preparation for photo production within the studio. You must understand photo studio logistics and inventory management so that you can coordinate effectively and drive continuous process improvements. Qualified candidates will be highly detail-oriented, collaborative, have a positive attitude, able to take initiative, be a problem-solver and have excellent communication skills. The candidate should enjoy coordinating and overseeing processes to completion and must be able to work in excel and inventory management systems. The candidate must also have the ability to contribute to a team culture of continuous improvement and be a part of a highly engaged merchandise management team. ResponsibilitiesConduct a daily pull & ship list of products to distribute across studio locations for production in a timely matterStock, relocate, and organize merchandise storage areas within the Photo Studio and offsite inventory storageProactively identify, communicate, and solve any inventory issues that arise throughout the production processAudit inventory locations conduct tagging updates for accuracy and initiates corrective procedures if product is missingCoordinate and process return of merchandise once production is completeResponsible for inventory accuracy while monitoring control of inventory integrity in all locationsMaintain good housekeeping practicesSupporting a culture of continuous improvement where teams are encouraged to drive change Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and training materials for new and existing staff to enforce accurate inventory operationsConduct regular inventory audits and report out results as required Maintain and manage product location and identification program and report out any discrepancies with inventory. Take the necessary corrective action to problem solve issuesFacilitate an accurate and timely liquidation of merchandiseUpdate and document inventory management workflows to meet KPI/SLA standards Virtually monitor Inventory integrity of global studios Ensure studio processes meets or exceeds product security standardsOther duties as assignedQualifications3+ years Inventory Control or relevant experienceStrong collaborative skills with the ability to work with a diverse group or peopleComputer savvy with an intimate understanding with advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel is a must)Excellent oral and written communication skillsMust be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach and twistA positive attitude to continued learningFlexible and able to work as needed, including the occasional weekend, to meet peak demands and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong customer service skillsPossesses an inspiring work ethicEnthusiastic, positive energy and able to work well under pressureDetail-oriented team playerExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to adapt to an ever-changing environmentPreferred QualificationsPrevious Warehouse and or Inventory Management experiencePrevious photo studio experienceKnowledge of apparel and footwear productsExperience working with TableauExperience working with Airtable
