Phlebotomist Instructor
We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and student-focused Phlebotomy Director/Instructor to provide comprehensive instruction in the art and science of phlebotomy. This role is responsible for preparing aspiring phlebotomists with the knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism required to succeed in the healthcare field.

What you’ll do
Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy, including lecture and clinical drawing sessions
Deliver curriculum content clearly and effectively to ensure student understanding and competency
Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment
Supervise students during clinical practice to ensure compliance with safety standards
Encourage and support students throughout the program to promote successful completion
Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
Manage onsite inventory and supplies
Complete required classroom documentation in accordance with company policies
Maintain productive attendance and timeliness for all scheduled classes
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
State Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalency completion; AND
5 years of practical experience in phlebotomy, or five years of acceptable teaching experience in phlebotomy, or five years of acceptable administrative or supervisory experience, or a combination of such acceptable experience amounting to at least five years. Letters from employer must be included showing 5 years.
Must attend a board director course (15-hour) offered by the department in school administration. Training occurs twice a year; June and December. 3 hours a day for 5 mornings Mon-Fri 9-12 pm. Training must be completed within the first year of hiring.

Required Qualifications
Current Phlebotomy Certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant occupational work experience in phlebotomy
Strong communication and instructional skills
Reliable transportation
A secure address to receive inventory shipments
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Proficiency with technology, including iPads, mirror casting, and basic troubleshooting
Professional demeanor and effective classroom management skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications
EKG knowledge and work experience
Prior teaching or training experience
Documents required upon application
Copy of Phlebotomy Certification
Proof of high school completion
Current resume (including dates on education and employment, plus supervisor names and phone numbers)
Two employer letters on employer letterhead, dated, stating exact dates of employment, job duties performed, job title, and contact information of the employer

AM: Monday - Thursday (some Friday's) 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
