Assistant Tech
1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.
Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices.
Comply with quality performance standards.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Ensure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines.
All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Required Skills and Experience
Skilled in the operation of test equipment.
Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.
Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Previous technical experience, particularly with mobile devices/small electronics repair.
Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with schematics.
Handles basic issues and problems and escalates more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Warehouse/distribution center environment
The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
