This role will use expertise to lead the planning, coordination and execution of natural gas pipeline and other construction projects, and regards safety as the highest priority!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Brings construction management experience on power plants including combined cycle simple cycle CHP or gas turbine generation projectsLeads construction on large industrial projects greater than $50M including fast track schedules and complex contractor coordinationAccounts for front end construction planning, estimate development, analysis and contract managementSupports construction of behind the meter power plants that serve hyperscale data center loadsProvides input in QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with our business partnersProvides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selectionReviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claimsDevelops and runs construction progress reporting; leads construction closeoutPerforms audits of inspection processes and documentation requirementsAnticipates and proactively addresses potential issues and claimsProvides onsite leadership to our inspection teamOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience with five (5) years’ experience on large projects (greater $50M) and CCM (CMAA) CertificationPreferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction ManagementPhysical and Environment Work Requirements:Must be willing to:Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spacesCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as neededStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of timeWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)Use hand toolsOther Requirements:Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving recordDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skillsPreferred: Background in natural gas processing facilitiesPreferred: Experience in natural gas operations is a plusPreferred: Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, including knowledge of pipeline systems and related infrastructure , Responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of natural gas pipeline facility and other construction projects. Is the company field representative, and is the single point of contact for all construction-related activities, including coordination of work by others. Job duties include accountability for front-end planning, construction estimate development and analysis, input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection, contract management, review and acceptance of contractor's Inspection Testing Plan(ITP), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management, and liaison activities with Operations, Engineering and Commissioning Team. Anticipates and proactively addresses potential construction-related issues and claims. Informally leads the on-site construction team (typically 5 to 15 reports). Performs and documents results of audit processes as required. Leads construction closeout, including preparation of data books, project completion reports and lesson learned. May be assigned to projects of varying sizes, scope, and complexity.
