Job descriptionJob Title : - DICOM ExpertLocation :- New York-NY( 3 days onsite/Week)Type of Employment : - ContractRole OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead with expertise in Enterprise Imaging, Digital Pathology, Healthcare IT integrations, Cloud Architecture, and imaging workflow modernization. This role will serve as the primary technical liaison between the Client, Provider, and delivery teams while actively contributing to solution architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and technical governance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical discovery, solution design, and implementation of a cloud-based digital pathology and medical imaging platform.Provide hands-on support for image conversion workflows, including iSyntax-to-DICOM conversion processes, metadata management, image routing, and DICOM interoperability.Define and review architecture for cloud-native imaging solutions involving storage, workflow orchestration, data pipelines, security, and authentication.Work closely with client and provider technical teams to integrate imaging systems, enterprise repositories, metadata sources, and downstream research platforms.Support implementation of AI-enabled imaging workflows and data pipelines to prepare, manage, and deliver medical imaging datasets for research and AI model consumption.Assist with solution troubleshooting, performance optimization, workflow validation, and resolution of technical issues across imaging, cloud, network, and application layers.Provide technical oversight for integration of DICOM services, image viewers, imaging archives, cloud storage, authentication frameworks, and API-based services.Participate in architecture reviews, stakeholder workshops, technical planning sessions, and project governance meetings.Guide development teams on technical design decisions, implementation standards, security considerations, and operational readiness.Support testing, user acceptance activities, deployment planning, production readiness, and knowledge transfer.
