For more information, visit Tricon Residential.Job DescriptionThe Director, Operational Programs will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of operational strategic initiatives within the company. This role will focus on optimizing property management operations, enhancing service delivery, and driving innovation across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, project management, and leadership, with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.Strategic Planning and Initiative Management:Develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of key programs aimed at improving operational efficiency and resident experience.Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.Define program goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.Monitor program progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.Create and maintain program documentation, including charters, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.Ensure that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Program Management and Process Improvement:Oversee the implementation and evaluation of in-flight programs.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including property managers, finance, marketing, and IT, to ensure successful program execution.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.Continuously seek ways to improve program effectiveness and efficiency, implementing best practices and learnings from other programs or industry standards.Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.Communicate program progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with company objectives.Collaborate with various departments (e.g., operations, finance, marketing) to ensure alignment on program goals and objectives.Manage relationships with external partners and vendors involved in program execution.Financial Management:Manage budgets for strategic initiatives, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.Monitor program expenses and ensure alignment with financial targets and company policies.Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.Align with business resources to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for each initiative and regularly assess program effectiveness.Qualifications:Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale programs or initiatives.Strong knowledge of property management practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Project Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.7+ years of experience in property management, program management, or a similar role within the real estate industry.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, including:Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.Frequently required to stand and move; use hands to grasp, squeeze, finger, handle, and feel; reach, push, and pull with hands and arms; occasionally required to twist; reach overhead; stoop, kneel, squat, bend, and crouch.Occasionally lift, carry, and move up to 10 pounds.Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.At Tricon, we are committed to creating a workplace where every individual is valued for their unique contributions, experiences, voices, and backgrounds.
