The hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00.The work hours for this position are approximately 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Mon-Fri.Key PurposeThe Catering Cook (Delivery & Event Support) is responsible for the preparation, execution, and delivery of catering orders, ensuring high-quality food production, timely service, and professional on-site presentation. This role supports all aspects of catering operations including food preparation, transportation, setup, and breakdown while maintaining ISS/Guckenheimer standards for food safety, quality, and client experience.Key ResponsibilitiesFood Production & PreparationPrepare and execute catering menu items according to standardized recipes and production sheetsEnsure all food is produced to quality, portion, and presentation standardsComplete daily prep lists and catering production in a timely and organized mannerMaintain proper labeling, dating, and storage of all food itemsCatering Delivery & ExecutionSafely transport catering orders to on-site and off-site locationsEnsure accuracy of all orders prior to departure (food, beverages, paper goods, equipment)Set up catering displays in a clean, organized, and visually appealing mannerExecute timely delivery and adhere to scheduled service timesBreak down and return equipment as neededClient Interaction & ServiceRepresent Guckenheimer in a professional and courteous manner during all catering interactionsCommunicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure successful event executionRespond to basic client needs during setup and escalate issues as appropriateFood Safety & SanitationFollow all HACCP guidelines, food safety, and sanitation standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentEnsure safe food handling during transport and service (temperature control, proper packaging)Operational SupportAssist with inventory organization and stocking of catering suppliesSupport kitchen operations as needed during non-catering periodsCommunicate product shortages, equipment needs, or operational challenges to leadershipParticipate in team meetings and support overall caf and catering operationsQualifications13 years of culinary or food service experience (catering experience preferred)Valid driver's licenseClean and safe DMV driving recordAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periodsWork EnvironmentFast-paced kitchen and event environmentCombination of kitchen production and off-site event supportFlexible schedule based on catering needs (early mornings and occasional extended hours)This role requires a valid Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, as operating a company vehicle is an essential responsibility in this position.What Success Looks LikeCatering orders are accurate, on time, and well-presentedFood quality and safety standards are consistently metClients receive a professional, seamless experienceStrong communication and teamwork across kitchen and catering operationsTakes full ownership of catering execution from kitchen to clientHSEQ Compliance: All employees must adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
