Global Accessories Developer

Our well-known Retail client is seeking a Global Accessories Developer to join their team for the next 12 months, 40 hours/week. This role is hybrid onsite 4 days a week in Beaverton, OR.Role SummaryThe Global Accessories Developer role supports end to end product creation with a strong focus on socks and knit accessories. This position partners closely with Design, Product Management, Materials, and factory teams to translate design intent into high quality, production ready products. The role requires strong technical acumen, collaboration across functions, and the ability to manage multiple seasonal projects while meeting date driven deliverables. Top Must Have SkillsMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience in product development, product design, technical development, or product creationHands on experience creating complete tech packsProven experience creating and maintaining garment specificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly collaborative working style across multiple functionsAdvanced proficiency with Adobe Suite, including Illustrator and PhotoshopExperience using 3D product development software such as CLO, Browzwear, Optitex, VStitcher, or similarAdditional QualificationsDegree in a relevant field preferred but not requiredExperience with knitting, particularly sock development, is highly prioritizedIf no knitting background, experience with soft goods, apparel, or footwear developmentExperience with yarn or textile product developmentExperience working directly with factories and vendors to improve manufacturabilityAbility to travel up to approximately 5 percent, including limited international travelResponsibilitiesCreate, update, and maintain accurate tech packs using 2D and 3D digital tools to communicate design intent, materials, construction, specifications, and graphic placementDevelop clear and detailed garment and accessory specifications to support prototype and production readinessPartner cross functionally with Design, Product Management, Materials, Color, and Product Integrity to drive product decisions and resolve technical challengesCollaborate with factory partners to ensure manufacturability, quality, costing alignment, and on time deliveryTrack prototypes, request sampling, and manage development calendars against season based milestonesLead and participate in prototype review sessions, capturing feedback and driving revisions toward buy ready productsProvide technical recommendations and alternative solutions that elevate craft, quality, and performanceSupport multiple projects simultaneously, including full seasonal briefs with date based deliverablesCommunicate progress, risks, and challenges clearly to partners and stakeholders in a fast paced environmentIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
