Access/SQL Database Developer

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and fix issues in Microsoft Access (front-end) and SQL Server (back-end).Ensure daily operational workflows run reliably and accurately.Reverse-engineer and document business logic, queries, forms, and workflows.Debug and maintain forms, queries, modules, macros, and VBA code.Write and debug SQL queries, stored procedures, ADO, and integrations.Support accounting/financial workflow processes.Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to OIT teams.Collaborate with business users and modernization team.Required Skills5+ years Microsoft Access Development.5+ years VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).5+ years ActiveX Data Objects (ADO).5+ years MS Access SQL & Query Design.3+ years splitting Access DB into front-end/back-end.4+ years translating business logic from Access objects → SQL.4+ years writing stored procedures & migrating tables to SQL Server.4+ years converting Access forms/reports to web-based apps.Highly DesiredExperience with QuickBase RAD platform.Accounting/Financial workflow experience.Experience stabilizing legacy applications during modernization.
