DescriptionsThe Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting Lead Development Managers in delivery of new generation projects.These activities may include status reporting, scheduling, maintaining risks/issues/changes, running meetings, taking notes at meetings, filling in for the Development Manager when required, etc.QualificationsBachelors degree is preferred. PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.General knowledge of project management and familiarity with the project management lifecycle process. Proficient in MS office tools, especially excel, word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.Other platform experience that would be a plus includes Unifier, ProjectWise, and PowerBI.Project coordinators must be well-organized, capable of working under pressure, and able to multitask, and attention to detail and a patient demeanor are also important.Work is usually done in an office environment, though some travel may occasionally be required.BenefitsHealthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.
