Corporate Recruiter

Corporate Recruiter Tri-City Group is seeking a passionate, experienced Corporate Recruiter to support strategic growth by partnering with hiring managers and company leadership to identify hiring needs and attract top talent. This position works closely with hiring managers and company leadership to identify hiring needs, define requirement criteria, post jobs, manage applicants, interview, and facilitate next steps.Key Responsibilities Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruitment strategiesManage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to offer acceptanceBuild and maintain a talent pipeline through various sourcing channelsScreen and interview candidates, assess their suitability, and make recommendations to hiring managersCollaborate with HR and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and help support and coordinate next stepsStay up to date on recruitment trends and best practices; recommend improvements to the recruiting processProvide an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment processEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policiesManage multiple requisitions simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and communicate status updates to hiring managers and Human Resources Recruitment strategy meetingsMaintain accurate documentation and consistency throughout the entire recruitment process, collect feedback, and update recruiting activities and statusUse data to monitor recruiting performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvementsWork Schedule & Location This is a full-time position, standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours outside of normal business hours may be required during peak periods. This role is primarily remote and based in a home office; required technology and tools will be provided. Occasional travel to our office in Davenport, IA, monthly in-person team meeting in the Des Moines office, recruiting and interviewing within the Des Moines Metro/surrounding areas as needed.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field3+ years of experience in corporate recruitment or talent acquisitionExperience recruiting for construction and/or skilled trades (preferred)Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR softwareWorking knowledge of employment laws and regulationsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions/projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExceptional organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, Teams)Skills & Competencies Strong organization, time management, and prioritization; able to assess role urgency and adjust sourcing effort accordinglyProactive, takes initiative, and applies sound judgment in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interviewing and facilitation skills, including panel/group interview coordinationComfortable networking and representing the company at community and industry eventsStrong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionHigh attention to detail in documenting candidate information and tracking activity in an ATSCompensation is commensurate with experience.All job offers are contingent upon passing a drug screening and reference check.
